As part of the growing awareness campaign against drug and alcohol abuse, the Wayanad District Police organized Tribal Strength 2022 football matches under the banner of 17 police stations in the district. The teams have been set up by the Janamaithri Police within each police station to find talented players. Mohammad Safnad, a member of the Kerala team and a Wayanad native who won this year's Santosh Trophy at the football fair, was honored and made part of the anti-drug campaign.
